Senior Justin Casey is presently serving on the Plainville Fire

Casey has always wanted to be a fireman and decided he would try it before he
left for college. The training Casey receives is on the job, but there are many
things he must learn first.
The payment for each callout is $15. Casey is not certain when he will begin
getting paid, but he says, "I don't even care about the money because it
is fun."
He is not certain if he will get excused from school if a fire happens, but
he doesn't believe there will be very many fires during school hours.
Casey does not intend to stay on the fire department unless he lives in a smaller
town and continues what he is doing.

a fire," Casey said.
