Harrison Gilliand won the original costume and Traegan Haas had the scariest costume. The kids seemed to really enjoy the party, and most of all, the treats that were handed out.
On November 21, fifteen FCCLA members flew out to Buffalo, New York. There they shopped, had an interesting walk to Niagara Falls, took a tour of the Underground Railroad, and attended assemblies for the Cluster Meeting. Plainville/Stockton bands perform
The Stockton/Plainville bands combined together for the annual combined half-time show at the Plainville/Stockton football game Thursday October 31. The bands played three songs and made three formations. The first formation was a submarine while they played "Yellow Submarine." The second formation was a pumpkin during which they played "Monster Mash." The 60's was the last formation that the bands made during which they played "Barbara Ann." The bands have been performing for the past six or seven years. The bands practiced at 7:30 until 8:30 on the mornings of October 29 and 30 at the Stockton field. Connie Reishus said, "I thought the students did and excellent job. Not only were the practices cold, so was the football game. This is one time where students performed together as one instead of competing against each other. Awesome job!"
Writer's
Block or idea challenged?
By: Chantal Plante
Well this is just one of those, I didn't get started on my article until my last deadline, and I have no clue what to write about at all. I guess I just kind of spaced out, and now I'm supposed to have this whole thing done by today. None of my friends are helping me with ideas they just keep saying, "yeah, yeah that's a good idea." So I guess I'm just going to write about not having an article that was planned or anything! Come on though, I'm in high school and I do have a life outside of school, or at least I like to think so, and to just come up with ideas on the top of my head? Now how realistic is that? Not very. I see everyone else is done and playing games and stuff, and here I am just typing on this computer about everything that pops up in my head. I wish I could just have one of those stupid light bulbs just turn on, so I could write about something actually worth reading. But for now this is the best I can do. I doubt anyone even reads my articles anyway so I guess I really don't have much to worry about, and for the ones who do feel free to give me any ideas to write about! I mean anything, anything at all!
Well I hope this article isn't all that bad, because I'm having horrible writer's block and have no clue what to write about, how to end it or anything.
