BOE to us cameras at USD 270

Board of Education members have been checking into installing security cameras in the hallways and entrances of Plainville High School for over a year.
One of the major reasons for the cameras is to monitor student and adult travel in and out of the school and throughout the hallways.
"The issue was introduced to the BOE members due to violence nation-wide that seems to be happening in schools. School safety is an on-going issue in education," Superintendent Don Grovers said.
The BOE is planning to have the cameras installed sometime in November or December of this year.
